Our Story
The Liberian Medical Association USA (LMA-USA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the health and welfare of the people in Liberia. Founded by medical professionals in the diaspora, LMA-USA serves as a bridge between healthcare providers in the United States and the needs of communities across Liberia.
Through collaboration, service, and shared commitment, we mobilize expertise and resources to strengthen healthcare education, professional development, and community health initiatives.

What We Do
We focus on initiatives that create sustainable, long-term impact, including:
Strengthening Medical Education – Supporting students and residents with essential training materials, textbooks, and digital resources.
Academic Resource Support – Supplying computers, online journal access, and educational tools to improve teaching and learning environments.
Professional Collaboration – Connecting Liberian medical professionals in the U.S. to share expertise, support each other, and contribute to health initiatives in Liberia.
Community Health Initiatives – Planned community health programs, identified in our 5-year strategic plan, will be launched as we continue to grow and expand our impact.
